About The Event
For the 2026 season, Cornwall Youth Theatre Company (CYTC) present The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.
A farcical comedy depicting the tangled affairs of two young men about town who lead double lives.
Join Algernon and Jack, back peddling through the awkward situations they create for themselves, by evading their unwanted social obligations.
TIOBE is one of Oscar Wilde’s most famous plays and is the final play of his four drawing room productions, which premiered in 1895.
Enjoy CYTC perform Wilde’s wit and humour with strong characterisation and fast paced repartee.
