All the events and the schedule of the Beat are run by groups of people who are passionate about their cause. If you have an event, group, workshops film night, dance lesson, lectures, display of art etc.. which you think is ideal for our space please contact us and help us build this community. The beat was established as a CIC in 2023 and is a not-for-profit venue. It is largely staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers and paid servers for events. Set up as a Community Interest Company we are trying to serve the needs in the local area. Our programme hopes to be varied and is constantly changing depending who we have behind the scenes in the community. We hope to include theatre, comedy, folk, jazz and classical music, dance, films, talks, workshops and exhibitions. If there is something that we can include or have missed out do let our team know.
We work closely with IntoBodmin, Bodmin Musical Theatre Company, KBSK Dance and the Masons pub to bring you current events. If you want to be a part of organising an event or be part of the community please give us a shout.
